Truckee River Trophy Trout Photo Gallery

The Truckee River is a beautiful freestone stream that holds some spectacular Brown and Rainbow Trout.  The Truckee begins at Lake Tahoe, CA and runs 115 miles Northeast before dumping into Pyramid Lake, NV.  There are excellent fishing opportunities on both sides of the California and Nevada state lines, although,  the best fishing is in Nevada during the winter months.  Mountain Whitefish also inhabit the Truckee and Carp are available in the summer months on the lower Truckee River .
